This was published for 1945.
The artwork was painted by Alberto Varga for Esquire.

The artwork comes in monthly pairs
Varga is considered one of the greatest Pin Up artists of the 20th Century.

His girls were the inspiration for many painted Nose Art and were painted onto many USAF, RAF, RCAF and RAAF aircraft in WW2.

This artwork has been seen painted onto the side of an Avro Lancaster and other aircraft..

We have mounted this original printed calendar into a double sided floating frame.

The image is sandwiched between two layers of clear glass so when hung the background wall colour shows around the edges of the print..

This allows both pieces of art to be seen and can be tuned around if preferred.

The pin up is glazed both sides with glass so UK ship only.

The frame measures 43 cm x 33 cm

This artwork has been painted onto the side of a Beech 18 that flew in UK until quite recently.

The rear of the centrefold has the picture of a sporting event.

We have mounted this original printed centerfold into a custom made frame.

The frame and double mount were selected to match the pin up.

The front is glazed with acrylic so safer to ship.

The frame measures 60 cm x 46 cm.
